Metropolitan College, recognizing the highly competitive environment of international hospitality, promotes a direct link between the labor market and education, while, at the same time, creating a multicultural mindset for students, an indispensable feature of a successful professional in the tourism industry.

The HoTEL OPEN FORUM (Hospitality Tourism Education League) hosts prominent personalities in the hotel industry who share with the public their valuable experiences from their multi-annual international or domestic career. Hosted lectures cover a different subject at a time, which is directly related to Hospitality Management, but also to the latest developments in the world.

The institution began dynamically hosting Mr Timotheos Ananiadis, General Manager / Chief Executive Officer of Hotel Grande Bretagne & King George, Luxury Collection Hotels Athens, Marriott International, in an interesting motivation speech on the employment prospects in the Tourism sector and the challenges facing young people through his personal success story. Mr Ananiadis said at the beginning of his speech: "Preparation and self-confidence are the keys to success in the profession. The evolution of career in the Hotel Industry has changed in recent years and requires specialization, not simple knowledge of hotel operations. It's a career that requires mobility and frequent travel, elements that one has to deal with positively if they wish to stand out in their field."

The lectures of the HoTEL OPEN FORUM are open to both students and graduates of Tourism programmes, as well as to professionals and the general public.
