Gold Award for Metropolitan College in the Education Business Awards

eduaward newsMetropolitan College was awarded for the second consecutive year at the Education Business Awards 2017, organized by Boussias Communications, to promote and reward best practice and innovation in Education.

More specifically, the College was awarded the Gold Prize in the category "Link with Society" as a recognition of its long-standing social work and its voluntary contribution in collaboration with local community authorities; in particular, the Speech Therapy Department of Metropolitan College has been providing free speech therapy services to citizens in need for more than 20 years. The sessions are conducted in the state-of-the-art Speech Therapy Laboratories in Athens and Thessaloniki - the first university speech therapy clinics in Greece - and have helped more than 500 children and adults who were in need of speech therapy.

The representatives of the College administration, along with more than 350 members of the educational community, attended the Education Business Awards 2017, powered by RDC Infromatics, at the Athinais culture venue, and were honoured and proud to receive the prize. This distinction came to be added to two more prizes that Metropolitan College was awarded last year at the Education Business Awards 2016: The ‘Facilities Award’ as a recognition of the high quality university provision in the best facilities and the ‘Marketing Strategy Award’, in recognition of the College's extroversion and the provision of adequate and direct information to prospective students.

These successive distinctions, coupled with the long series of academic distinctions of the last two years, seal the educational excellence and steadfast leadership of Metropolitan College in the provision of Higher Education services in our country, in collaboration with distinguished foreign Universities.
