  • The School of Physiotherapy is the only one in Greece with alumni members of the British Association of Health Professionals (HCPC - Health and Care Professions Council). The graduates, as members of the Association, may be granted professional rights across Europe.   • The School of Occupational Therapy is the only one in Greece belonging to the European Network of Occupational Therapy in Higher Education (ENOTHE).
  • The School of Biomedical Sciences is the only one in Greece which is accredited by the Professional Association of Biomedical Scientists in England (IBMS - Institute of Biomedical Science).
  • The School of Architecture is the only one in Greece which is accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA - Royal Institute of British Architects). This accreditation is proof of the competency of the graduates of this specific programme.
  • The School of Electrical - Electronic Engineering is the only one in Europe which is accredited by the British Society of ARM microprocessors as a provider of educational programmes of ARM technology.
  • The Faculty of Shipping is the only one in Greece offering maritime courses accredited by the British Professional Transport and Logistics Association (CILT - Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport), in collaboration with Southampton Solent University, the world leader in Marine studies with the internationally renowned ‘Warsash Maritime Academy’.
  • The School of Tourism was awarded as the "Best School for Hotel Education» (Best Hotel Education Provider) in Greek Hospitality Awards 2016.
