Metropolitan Colllege participates in the Hellenic Initiative Against Azheimer's Disease Meeting
Metropolitan College, following the best practices worldwide and aiming to improve the functionality and quality of life of individuals, offers for the first time in Greece, a training course specialized for Alzheimer's Caregivers. The course is curated by the Hellenic Initiative Against Azheimer's Disease, following the guidelines of Johns Hopkins University.
On the occasion of the course's launch, Metropolitan College will attend the online meeting of the Hellenic Initiative Against Alzheimer's Disease. HIAAD meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 7, focusing on the latest scientific updates and research results in the fight against Dementia and Alzheimer, as well as HIAAD's vision.
Dr. Irini Manara, Head of Metropolitan College's School of Health Sciences, is one of the speakers. During her speech on "Caregiver Certificate course", she is going to present the innovative Alzheimer's Caregiver Training Course. Through this initiative, Metropolitan College aims to develop a new level of care for our fellow human beings suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
