The School of Occupational Therapy at the first joint Conference of ENOTHE and COTEC

The new Board 2016The School of Occupational Therapy participated with great success in the first joint Conference of ENOTHE (European Network of Occupational Therapy in Higher Education) and COTEC (Council of Occupational Therapists for European Countries), which was held in Galway, Ireland between 15-19 June 2016 .

The successful School’s contribution to the conference included:

  • Two posters, one by Ms Skaltsi Polyxeni, member of academic staff and the other by Dr Panagiotis Siaperas, Programme Leader.
  • As a result of the persistent efforts of the School, the decision was taken by the ENOTHE General Assembly for the Pan-European Congress of 2019 to be held in Athens.
  • Dr Panagiotis Siaperas, Occupational Therapy Programme Leader, was elected to the Board of ENOTHE with a vast majority.

The AMC School of Occupational Therapy has been in the forefront of European developments related to studies and research in this field since its establishment.
