The students of the School of Architecture redefine the urban landscape of Athens
Interesting architectural proposals at the 8th Architecture Year Show by the students of Metropolitan College
The annual ARCHITECTURE YEAR SHOW was inaugurated for the 8th consecutive year by the School of Architecture of Metropolitan College, Maroussi campus.
This year the students of the BA (Hons) Architecture (RIBA Part 1) of the University of East London as well as the students of the March Architecture and Urbanism (RIBA Part 2) of the University of Portsmouth presented to the public their architectural vision of the future, putting their individual and group architectural projects on display, on which they were assessed for the academic year 2018-19. This year, the projects highlighted student performance and synthesis of work.
As far as the BA (Hons) Architecture (RIBA Part 1) undergraduate programme is concerned, the two main approaches of the School are presented: the exploration of the conciliation of spatial and social contextualities and the holistic approach of architectural design through the links of the Architectural Composition with the modules of History & Theory as well as the subdivisions of Architectural Technology, Digital Applications and Representations and Professional Practices.
