The BSc (Hons) International Logistics Management aims to form future Shipping executives, who will not only possess expertise in transport or inventory management, but will also be capable of performing overall planning and making decisions in the entire range of transport and logistics activities.
It is nowadays acknowledged that Transport and Logistics are highly important sectors of global economy. Considering that nearly 90% of the global trade volume is transported by sea, it is easy to understand the great significance of sea transport for international trade and the development of the global economy. At the same time, there is increasing awareness among businesses regarding the key role of Logistics for enhancing their competitiveness both in Greece and abroad.
For all these reasons, the Metropolitan College is offering a modern course specialising in Supply Chain Management, which is considered to be one of the top programmes for maritime studies in the world.
